She wins! Not even a month after being let go from the daytime talk show The Real, Tamar Braxton-Herbert is back on top with a newly signed deal with Steve Harvey’s East 112th Street Productions. Steve Harvey made the announcement on his radio show that the company plans to move forward with a talk show hosted by Tamar, but also hinted at plans for a possible game show as well. Harvey revealed the deal was a result of his long-standing relationship with Tamar’s husband and manager, Vincent. Tamar also revealed how the news came to her that she was fired from the show–they didn’t even have the decency to call her. Listen below.
Harvey’s company has partnered with Endemol Shine North America to produce original programming. The two companies have worked together successfully on Harvey’s Emmy- Award winning daytime talk show. Harvey’s production company is now housed at Endemol Shine North America’s L.A. office.
No word yet on when to expect the first episode, but we’re sure Tamartians are waiting with baited breath. The producers of The Real, however are watching with egg on their faces. Congrats Tamar!!
